Data Collected

Naubat collects and transmits data only during the Collecting Data state. This page explains what is collected, when it is sent, and what is not collected.

Collection and Upload Conditions

Data is uploaded to Naubat servers only when the app is in Collecting Data. When the app is in Disconnected or Idle state, no data is uploaded. In Disconnected or Idle state, the app does not communicate with the vehicle.

Data Transmission

Collected data is transmitted to the backend over encrypted HTTP connections. Transmission is limited to the data required for trip and battery analytics.

Mobile Device Signals

The app collects GPS position and accelerometer signals from the phone. These signals are used to compute and validate trip-level metrics.

Vehicle Diagnostic Signals

The app collects raw vehicle diagnostic parameters from the vehicle. These signals are transmitted without prior high-level interpretation at collection time. Processed values based on these signals are later available in panels such as Latest Readings.

Personal Data

Naubat does not collect personal data.
