Vehicle Compatibility

Naubat is designed for electrified vehicles that expose diagnostic data through accessible vehicle interfaces. Compatibility depends on both vehicle-side implementation and diagnostic access behavior.

Supported Vehicle Types

Naubat supports Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV), Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV), and hybrid vehicles where required battery-related signals are available. Internal combustion vehicles without high-voltage battery systems are not supported.

Model Variability

Data availability varies by manufacturer and model. Signal structure and naming can differ between brands and control unit implementations. Sampling capability depends on how each vehicle exposes and serves diagnostic data.

Diagnostic Interface Requirements

A standard OBD-II physical port is required. The vehicle must allow diagnostic data access through that interface. Some models may restrict access to certain control units or signals.

Continuous Improvement

The compatibility list is published on the Naubat website and evolves over time as additional vehicles are tested and validated. Vehicle status is grouped into two categories:
  • Beta: the model is operational, but some parameters are still pending or under reliability validation with real users.
  • Fully Supported: the model has completed validation for the required signal set.
Validation is performed by comparing collected values against professional diagnostic tools and by confirming behavior with real users in real driving sessions.
