Reliable vehicle diagnostics depend on multiple external factors, including operating system policies, dongle behavior, and model-specific vehicle responses.

## Operating System Constraints

### Android

Background execution may be affected by manufacturer battery and process optimization policies.
A foreground notification is required during persistent background operation.
Battery optimization settings may need adjustment to improve reliability.

### iOS

If Bluetooth is toggled, reopening the app may be required in certain scenarios.
Background behavior remains subject to iOS system policies and lifecycle controls.

## Communication Variability

Some vehicles may return negative responses to specific requests.
Temporary communication errors can occur during normal operation.
Signal availability and response consistency vary by model.
